No Tomatoes January 5, 2009 I purchased the cherry tomato 3 pod seed kit about one year ago. I followed the booklet's guidelines exactly. There was much leaf growth and occasionally a few flowers, but no tomatoes ever appeared. $20 is way too much for zero production! I'll stay with herbs from now on. By the way, amazon's service and speed of delivery were excellent.
Happy with the herbs December 20, 2008 We've been lucky with the herbs, so far. They grow well and we grow enough of them to have all the herbs we want, when we need them. We find it difficult to grow tomatoes and impossible to grow them in any significant quantities. Everything else is in-between. We never tried flowers but we might this coming summer because we have a real outdoors garden that produces everything we need during the summer months.
So, go with the herbs, young or post-young woman or man :)
The basils are fantastic and we got good oregano and arugula too.
Do NOT buy Salad Greens Seed Kit December 19, 2008 Despite what the package claims, namely that the seed kit contains a mix of Red Leaf, Green Leaf, Butterhead & Romaine, it, in fact, had seven pots of the same seeds, namely Butterhead lettuce. Had I known this was the case I'd not have bought it, and feel deceived by the packaging.
AeroGarden Italian Herb Seed Kit December 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The product is everything it claims to be. We were able to begin harvesting most of the herbs within 4 weeks and we were able to continue harvesting them for close to 6 months. Delicious.
Tomatoe Seed Kit November 26, 2008 Tomatoes are growing as stated. Everyting is fine so far. Product is a bit pricey. That is the only negative I can see.
